Coaching Tailored to Your Needs

“First and foremost, I want my clients to know that I am an authentic coach. This authenticity builds trust, which is essential for our coaching sessions.”

"Momentum Coaching: Personal Growth, Athletic Success & Smooth Transitions"

I want to share insight into the three specialized areas shaping my coaching practice. Interestingly, this wasn’t a conscious decision—these paths revealed themselves organically to me over time.

Sports Performance Life Coaching was a natural starting point, grounded in my 35 years of experience coaching figure skating. In this role, I help athletes and high performers elevate their mental game to achieve peak performance. Through strategies that build focus, confidence, resilience, and stress management, I support clients in mastering the psychological elements essential for success. While I always knew this would be a cornerstone of my work, I sensed there was more I could offer. That realization led me to explore Personal Development Coaching. This area focuses on helping individuals overcome obstacles, build self-awareness, and cultivate confidence. I guide clients toward a stronger sense of self-belief and personal empowerment by offering encouragement, accountability, and practical strategies. Life has a way of guiding us in unexpected directions. As I continued this journey, I was drawn to a third specialty: Transition Coaching. This wasn’t a linear path—there were moments of uncertainty and hesitation—but by remaining open and curious, I discovered the meaningful impact of helping others navigate change. Transition coaching supports individuals facing personal or professional shifts by enhancing adaptability, clarifying goals, and developing effective career or life plans. It’s about reducing the stress of change while empowering clients to step confidently into new roles. Though distinct in focus, personal development, sports performance, and transition coaching all rest on shared foundations: growth, resilience, and the belief in one’s potential. Each modality empowers individuals to meet challenges head-on, embrace transformation, and achieve meaningful success—whether in sport, life, or times of change.

Taking The First Step

Taking the first step towards working with a life coach, can feel overwhelming, but if you’re feeling stuck right now, it’s a sign that change is calling you. Every transformation in life takes time, but making a change that supports your journey is invaluable! By letting go of your battles and the struggles that dictate your feelings and thoughts, you open yourself up to trust and empower your coach.

What Is a Life Coach and Does Coaching Work?

Life coaching is often misunderstood; it focuses on guidance, empowerment, and personal growth. My role is to partner with my clients, helping them identify their current situations and future aspirations while setting realistic goals for positive change. Coaches primarily facilitate self-discovery, guiding clients to find their own answers and solutions.

Yes!! This process can be particularly effective for individuals seeking support in achieving personal goals or navigating life transitions, ultimately enhancing self-confidence and overall well-being.

What is the difference between a life coach, a therapist, a counselor, and a psychologist?

They are all part of the mental health profession and can diagnose mental illnesses. A life coach focuses on a client's current circumstances to help them build a better future.

I think the tiniest little thing can change the course of your day, which can change the course of your year, which can change who you are.

My Coaching Style

“You don’t learn from winning, you win from losing, and making bad decisions and mistakes is a part of life. The things that separates people apart, to learn from your mistakes and grow from your mistakes. There’s no such thing as a perfect human being and if there is, I haven’t met them yet.”
